Governance

Kodagu Vidya Sangha is a non-profit, private organisation and the primary governing body of Kodagu Vidyalaya. It is a registered charitable society established in the year 1981 by Field Marshal K.M Cariappa, B.S Kushalappa, B.K Subiah, C.B Deviah and K.S.Devaiah amongst others. Its establishment was encouraged by the District Commissioner of that time-Mrs. Veena Sriram Rao. The main aim of the Kodagu Vidya Sangha was to develop a School that would provide quality English-medium education in Kodagu which led to the inception of Kodagu Vidyalaya.

 

Over the course of time, the senior members of Kodagu Vidya Sangha have welcomed younger members to be a part of the society.

 

The Kodagu Vidya Sangha is registered under Section 12 A and Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 and thereby avails the benefits of income tax exemptions and deductions for its donors.
