
Mr. Jugan Sukavaneshwar
Mr. Jugan Sukavaneshwar is the Vice President of Kamala Subramanyam CBSE School, Thanjore and
Kamala Subramanian Sports Academy . He also is the Associate Professor of Practice - Manipal Academy
of Higher Education - MAHE . He holds the position of Head youth development in the Basketball
Federation of India .He has founded JD – consulting, a consultancy firm.
Mr. Sukavaneshwar has established proficiency in the field of sports. He received the Best Sportsperson
Award and SPIC Endowment Sports Award, during his graduate education in Anna University, Chennai.
He was also a member of the Tamil Nadu State Mens’ Basketball Team which won the National
Championship in 1998. Thereafter, he made history as the first Indian to play NCAA Division II Basketball
(2000-2002), while playing for California State University, Chico, USA, during his education there.
Academically, Mr. Sukavaneshwar is a certified professional from AP Teacher Training Institute in
Educational Administration and Management and has led several organizations in administrative and
managerial capacities. In contribution to the field of human resource management and personality
development, he developed and implemented an innovative Life Skills Program for young, working
professionals.
Mr. Sukavaneshwar continues to be extremely proactive in the field of sports with extensive experience
in sports coaching and sports event management.
He was instrumental in creating the MOU between Corvuss American Academy and BFI to establish the
first National basketball academy in Mumbai and instrumental in creating the MOU between MAHE and
Olympian table tennis star Sharath Kamal to establish first table tennis High Performance centre in
MAHE ,Mangalore.
