their summer break learning new skills and making friends.
C.V Shankar Academy for Sports Coaching
At Kodagu Vidyalaya, the summer sports camp is closely linked to its first and most loved sports coach- Sri C.V Shankar. This camp is held yearly in honour of his timeless methods of inspiring sportive strength, resilience and tenacity in his students. Most of the coaches who presently train at the summer camp are, in fact his students.
The summer sports camp offers intensive training in hockey, cricket, athletics, basket-ball, football, kabaddi, karate, hand-ball, table tennis and chess for different age groups.
Art, Craft and Culture Camp
Since its inception post COVID, the Art, Craft and Culture Camp has been a raging success amongst children and their parents alike. This camp was initiated by Kodagu Vidyalaya as a sincere effort to steer children away from the tight clutches of technology which had noticeably gripped the younger generation during the times of social distancing and quarantine. The Art, Craft and Culture Camp offers an exciting range of creative activities connected to theater, yoga, dance, music, arts and crafts to restore and develop healthy emotional and creative fluidity in children.
We welcome children from all schools in Karnataka to be a part of our summer camp.
